TAP Fabrications
TAP Fabrications is part of the TAP Group founded by Trevor Humphreys in 1977 and is based in Spennymoor, County Durham. In 1980 TAP acquired Aycliffe Plastic (Fabricators) Limited, established in 1965 and specialised in manufactured products such as chemical process equipment, tanks, fume extractors and pipe work as well as offering an installation service.
This consolidated TAP Fabrications as a leading North East fabricator and supplier with a client base of national and global giants in the chemical, utility and construction industries. TAP expertise can be found in projects throughout the UK and as far afield as USA, Singapore, Pakistan and Malaysia.
Equally important to TAP is the supply of products such as PVCu, ABS, polypropylene pipe and valves and fittings together with sheet and engineering plastics. Sourcing new products, materials and solutions to meet the needs of a wide range of customers from public utilities to the general public is an ongoing process.

TAP Sales & Supply
In 1984 we identified the emergence of the UPVC Window Industry and quickly recognised the need for a quality fabricated conservatory roof product.
The introduction of our fabricated conservatory roof system gave us a new customer base which in turn led us towards supplying more UPVC building and plumbing products.
